a small deli, grocer and wine bar owned by a sweet italian man called beppe, sicilian for guiseppe! tell him you are here for our wedding and he will love you even more. Come here for local groceries, a home-made sandwich, or wine and antipasto plate on his terrace, in which he calls ‘Giardino D’Amore’ (garden of love).

casual bakery in scopello for it’s limited menu of foccacia, panino with anchovies, arancini and cassatelle (ricotta filled pastry - an absolute must!). best for lunch, but i think they stay open late too for a more casual dinner!
an absolutely beautiful, untouched nature reserve with multiple beaches dotted along the walk. it is not accessible by car, and you need to park at the car park here, and then pay 5 euros per adult to enter the reserve. you can hike to the first beach, cala capreria, in about 15 minutes, which is absolutely serene. the entire hike will take you 2 hours if you don’t stop for a swim. you must bring sneakers or hiking shoes, as the ranger won’t let you in without them. bring water !
there is a natural and free hot spring, approximately 30 minutes by car from scopello town.
